Studio OmG is located at Fabriken in Torekov.

This is where creativity, sales and meetings come together.

 

Here you find a variety of yarns, used knitting needles, self-knitted garments, a couple of sewing machines (including an overlock machine), some embroidery yarns, Sashiko material, some fabrics, lots of sewing threads, a spinning wheel, etc. etc.

 

There is also a sofa, a couple of armchairs, a few tables and a kettle.

 

My idea is to create a space where we can meet, talk, buy a piece of fabric, a ball of yarn, get started with, for example, knitting, bring your own needlework, find inspiration, sit down for a while and rest, borrow a sewing machine and get guidance from me if needed.

 

I am professionally focused and have devoted much of my time to women's health and have a lot of knowledge and experience in this area (broadly).

 

However, the goal of this "room" is not primarily to offer individual consultations, but to meet in creativity and conversation, or silence.

 

Over the years I have spent a lot of time sewing, knitting, yarns and many variations of this, including creative patching and mending of garments.

 

I would like to share both knowledge, experience, and materials, and you are welcome here if you want to buy something hand-knitted, buy a few balls of yarn, borrow/rent a sewing machine on site, need some materials, or just want to get started with a project and are missing a part, or want help doing this yourself.

 

The goal of the activity is also to provide space for meetings, conversations and to be a link between health and creativity.

Yarn is a little extra close to my heart, so I'm happy to teach knitting, tricks, exchange ideas and share the knowledge and experience of others.

 

There are more and more studies, knowledge and observations about the intelligence of the hand, well-being, the joy of creating and how even hand movements can create peace.

I want to unite 2 worlds - the creative and the knowledge-based.

In the long term, I also hope that an activity can be developed with groups that meet here for healing, women's health and the exchange of knowledge.

 

This is the first time I have run my own business physically in a location with sales, etc., so the business will take shape together with you who come.

 

The idea is a bit of a "Women's Room", although men are of course also welcome.

There is no upper age limit, but I imagine a lower one...no longer periods with school children in the premises.

 

In addition to gynecology, I am trained in functional medicine, trauma, acupuncture, menstrual health, energy medicine and Yoga Nidra.
